INTRODUCTION: The use of mobile health applications can be relevant for the rehabilitation of orofacial dyspraxias in physiotherapy. These dyspraxias, caused by various factors, can benefit from personalized rehabilitation programs offered by mobile applications. The objective of this study was to identify all currently available mobile applications that assist in the rehabilitation of orofacial dyspraxias and to evaluate their quality. METHODS: The research involved exploring the iOS and Android app stores up to January 2023 to identify applications meeting predefined inclusion criteria, such as availability in French, offering rehabilitation exercises, and having an above-average rating on at least one of the two download platforms. Two groups of experts were also consulted. The selected applications were then evaluated using the Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS). RESULTS: The review identified five mobile applications that support the rehabilitation of patients with orofacial dyspraxias. The highest-rated applications were Mon Kine, iRonfle Gym, Sommeil de Marmotte and Mon Coach Ortho. The study highlights the quality elements of each application that could be recommended as a complement to a rehabilitation treatment. CONCLUSIONS: This study presents the mobile applications dedicated to orofacial dyspraxias available for patients and healthcare professionals in January 2023. The results of the MARS score show satisfactory quality in terms of engagement, functionality, aesthetics, and information. Expert healthcare professionals emphasize the importance of using these applications to support the rehabilitation of patients with orofacial dysfunctions who need it. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE: 2.
