OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study to accomplish a systematic review to evaluate the effectiveness of the tilt training as treatment of the neurocardiogenic syncope. METHODS: To proceed this research the web sites Medline, Lilac's and Cochrane, were accessed via Bireme and PubMed, by using the following search terms: neurocardiogenic syncope and tilt training. Only articles written in Portuguese, English and Spanish were included as sample. Were also include the articles that fowled the intervention of tilt training used independently of the protocol, associated or not at orientations, that could be or not compared with pharmacological therapies in people of any sex or age, who carried neurocardiogenic syncope, diagnosed through the tilt test, independently of which protocol was used. RESULTS: By using the search system it was found, thirty three articles of which thirteen had filled the inclusion criteria, because, five were writhen in other languages, other than those cited before, thirteen were review, one was not finished and the summary was not available yet and one wasn't about tilt training. Among the articles included as sample, eight were not controlled clinical trial, were two randomized and controlled clinical trial, were two study of case and one quasi experimental study. CONCLUSION: It can be concluded that the Tilt Training has revealed efficient in the treatment of the neurocardiogenic syncope, however it is necessary the accomplishment of new randomized and controlled clinical trial, to obtain methodological evidence.
