AIM: To explore the relation between load intensity and function and injury incidence of training by analyzing the changes of body constitution, figure and somatic function. METHODS: Seventy-five new soldiers were randomly divided into reinforced training group (n = 32) and normal training group (n = 43). The changes of their body constitution, figure and somatic function were observed after 2 years' load intensity training. RESULTS: The changes of body figure, including body height, weight, volume of muscle, muscular circumferences before and after training were compared in intra and inter groups, the differences were significant (t = 0.00 to 24.59, p < 0.05 to 0.01). There were significant differences in muscle burst, sensitivity, concordance, and the resting heart rate, blood pressure, vital capacity, 12-min run (t = 0.04 to 29.00, p < 0.05 to 0.01). The indices after 2 years improved significantly along with the increase of load intensity. CONCLUSION: The results of load intensity training show that the indices in the reinforced group, effective and step by step training method under scientific introduction has a significance of raising the level of military and athletic training, and reducing the injury in training.
