In a controlled trial of methods of treating nocturnal enuresis in otherwise healthy children, pad-and-bell conditioning produced the best response, both initially produced a significantly superior response, compared with placebo, but there was a considerable relapse rate with gradual withdrawal. Amphetamine proved of little value.
