Consumer Summary: IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE: Develop a feasible and effective pre- and post-surgery pulmonary rehabilitation program for patients with lung cancer receiving surgical treatment. Use breathing exercise combined with aerobic exercise as a promising short-term pulmonary rehabilitation program to improve dyspnea, exercise capacity, and inspiratory capacity. Perform further studies to explore the long-term effects of a multimodal exercise program in clinical practice and its beneficial effect on other patient-centered outcomes.
